Considering that she is a Forney with the tank joined to the engine frame , she weighs about the same as George, sans tender.

If you haven't noticed, Mr. Taylor has been posting fairly regularly on NGDF pics of not only the C-19's but also the Crown and the continuing referbismnent of the Davenport. There not giving any specifics on when she'll ready, but it wouldn't surprise me if she moves under her own steam by Spring Break.

Per Knott's Berry Farm Facebook Page:
"In 1951, before the Denver and Rio Grande made Knott's its home, Walter considered purchasing wrecked trains from a movie set and rebuilding them. Fortunately, the Denver and Rio Grande was for sale and in working condition! After making a difficult journey to the park, the train made its first trip at Knott's in 1952."

Yeah, their PR department needs some help when it comes to the RR. This tripe has been dished out since the 1950's. They need to read the new "Knotts Preserved" book that they are actually selling on the property! While it's not perfect from our standpoint , it's a darn sight better than what's in their press folder.
